Dr. April Tressler

Hi, I’m April and I’m the owner and dentist here at Distinctive Dental Implants. I am a native Wisconsinite having graduated high school in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. After high school, I attended the United States Military Academy at West Point where I earned a BS degree in Psychology and Nuclear Engineering. I served on active duty for five years in the US Navy and continued my study of nuclear engineering. After my time in the Navy I decided to make a career change. I returned to school at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry where I graduated in 2015. Following graduation, I practiced in New Jersey before returning to the Madison area in 2018.
My engineering background led me to the world of dental implants. I began my implant journey in 2019 by learning the basics through a variety of courses. From there I was hooked! In 2021 I joined the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and enrolled in the Maxicourse, which is a year long course for implant mastery. I am currently completing a mini-residency for advanced surgical techniques with the Dental Implant Learning Center in New York City. I am currently an Associate Fellow of the AAID with plans to advance my credentials to diplomat status.
In 2016 I trained with the American Academy of Facial Cosmetics. During my years in New Jersey I owned and operated an esthetics practice called “Facial Esthetics @ The Shore” which specialized in botox and dermal fillers. I have continued with my esthetics training and have worked in several medical spas in the Madison area. I am very excited to have my own dedicated esthetics practice to continue to help patients enhance their smiles! Stay tuned as I continue to add more esthetic options in the future!

Hi! I'm Marcus, the dental clinic manager and social media guru here at DDI. I recently moved back to the Madison area after living in Bristol, England where my partner and I explored the world for two years. Prior to relocating I was in the dental field for 8 years, where I met Dr. April, where we always talked and dreamt about her having the opportunity to open her own office!
Outside of work I love to cook, park hang with my two dogs, hiking on Wisconsin’s ice age trails and hanging with family. I also enjoy natural light photography.
As the clinic manager, I ensure our clinic runs smoothly and effectively. I'm always ready to lend a helping hand to make sure our patients and staff feel comfortable and welcomed.

Hi! I’m Campbell and I am Dr. April’s dental assistant. Working with patients over the years has helped transform me from a shy kid to a personable professional.
I am passionate about my job, my family and my friends. My high school sweetheart and I love to spend our time outdoors, fishing, and working on our fixer-upper house we recently purchased.
I graduated from Deerfield High School and now live in Sun Prairie. I met Dr. April while working at a dental clinic in Deerfield. I am so excited to be a founding member of the Distinctive Dental Implant team!
