Dental Implants for Permanent Tooth Replacement
Missing teeth can affect your appearance and how you eat. Dental implants are a full replacement. A surgeon places a strong, body-friendly titanium implant into your jaw. The bone grows around it, creating a secure anchor that acts like a natural tooth root. Unlike bridges, which rest on the gums, implants become part of your body. Some patients may need a bone graft to strengthen the jaw before getting implants.
Stability and Confidence
Many people find removable dentures uncomfortable and dislike using messy pastes or glues. Bridges rely on support from other teeth, but implants work on their own and help protect your natural teeth. The implant post keeps your jawbone healthy, so your face shape stays the same. With a permanent replacement that looks and feels real, you can laugh, speak clearly, and enjoy eating your favorite foods again. That’s why many choose dental implants in Middleton, WI.
Preserving Oral Health and Easy Care
Traditional bridges often require removing healthy parts of nearby teeth, but implants leave your other teeth untouched. Your natural smile stays the same, and caring for implants is easy; just brush and floss as you would with real teeth. You won’t need adhesives or nightly soaking. Implants also help prevent bone loss, keeping your jaw strong and your face looking natural. Choosing implants is an investment that benefits you for many years.
Options for Complete Restoration
We have options to fit your needs. Full-mouth dental implants can restore an entire row of teeth. All-on-4 implants are placed at special angles to reduce the need for bone grafts. Snap-in dentures connect directly to implants and stay in place, while implant-supported dentures give you strong chewing ability. We also match the color to your natural teeth for a seamless look.

What is a Dental implant?
Dental Implants are one option for missing teeth. They can be used for replacing a single tooth or for an entire smile. They help you restore your ability to chew and your confidence in your smile. If you feel like a missing tooth is affecting your well being, a dental implant might be the right solution for you.
Well integrated dental implants last for many years. Unlike traditional dentures or bridges they do not rely on the natural tooth structure which can still be prone to cavities and fractures. Every implant treatment is customized and planned specifically for you!
Are Dental Implants My Only Choice?
Dental implants are an excellent replacement for missing teeth. However, there are other alternatives. Other options include bridges, removable partial dentures and full dentures. The best thing you can do is to book yourself an appointment with Dr. April and have a consultation. She will be able to advise you on all of your options.
The 4 Stages of Dental Implant Therapy
The First Stage:
Consult and Digital Smile Design
We use the latest technology to create a digital model of your mouth where Dr. April plans your customized treatment, including a preview of the final design for you to review before any treatment is started.
You will meet with Marcus during this appointment to go over your treatment plan cost-estimate. This allows to ask questions about out-of-pocket costs and insurance coverage and pre-authorizations.
The Second Stage:
Surgery to Place the Implant Into the Bone
This will be performed under local anesthetic along with your choice of sedation for a comfortable experience. We offer IV Moderate Sedation, Conscious Sedation, Nitrous Oxide (laughing gas)
Other procedures typically completed at this time include bone grafts, soft tissue grafts or other specific procedures to prepare the site for optimal implant placement.
The 3rd stage:
Recovery
After dental implant surgery, you can generally expect about a 12-week period of rest and recovery for the jaw to heal and the implant to integrate.
We have many options for temporary solutions to fill the space while the implant heals. This will already be chosen during the initial consultation. No one will have to have gaps in their smile during the healing process unless they choose it.
Finally, the 4th stage:
Restoration.
After your implant is fully integrated and Dr. April gives the okay, we will schedule you back for the remaining appointments for the implant which includes;
Scanning the healed implant
Placing the custom abutment (the connector piece from the implant to the dental crown)
Designing the final crown or denture and then insertion into your mouth.
The replacement teeth will look natural and improve your daily function. We won’t stop until you are fully satisfied with your smile.
The final replacement teeth will look completely natural while improving your daily functions and giving you that confidence boost!
